Who's your Spider-man?

There have been a lot of Spider-man costumes over the years. Some hated. Some loved. Some lasting no more than eight panels in a single issue. Which costume is your favorite? Least favorite? I'm going to be posting some of my findings on the lesser known threads and general thoughts on each. Stay tuned true believers!

Spidey watches The Spirit

Not quite the film I was hoping for. Dick Tracy meets Sin City? No, The Spirit is a mess. While visually the same effect used in Sin City, the plot doesn't follow suit. Campy lines, bad dialogue, and a "let's make a movie to kill time" attitude, Spirit was best left as the iconic comic it once was- not this eye-roll fest.

Comics in K-Zoo pt. 1

Happy New Comic Wednesday to all!

One comic shop I love to visit is in Kalamazoo, Michigan: Fanfare Sports and Entertainment, Inc. The store is amazing with a friendly staff and has more comic related merchandise than you can shoot a web at. This is the template other comic stores should follow. Well-lit, clean, and no 'Comic Book Guy' owner to ruin what should otherwise be geek bliss. However, I do have to say: "BEST COMIC STORE EVER". I took Spidey along for the ride and snapped some Polaroids of our trip. Enjoy!
